Selected Tolerance-Mode Baseline

This baseline is the lowest-error tolerance-mode result from the tested matrix. It uses a visible target of -16.5 dB to land near a whole-file target of -18.0 dBFS RMS on this chapter material. The limiter is disabled for these runs so the threshold checks describe the leveler itself; peak values remain visible as diagnostics only. The compensation validation below measures how closely the compensation modes can remove the manual target offset while preserving boundary behavior.

Compensation Validation

Compensation Validation

These runs keep the visible target at the requested -18.0 dB value instead of using the manual -16.5 dB offset. The tolerance mode stays fixed to the selected baseline of Adaptive while the compensation mode changes. Average and Integrated learn on a first chapter-sequence render and are then rerun from a fresh processor state with the learned correction frozen for pass 2.
